Daniel is an Associate Solicitor in the Property Litigation team in Milton Keynes.

Daniel's practice encompasses a wide range of property disputes.  He acts for a diverse range of clients from private individuals to large corporations advising on areas of landlord and tenant law including dilapidations, forfeiture, lease renewals, and recovery of rent/service charge arrears.

Daniel also supports the private residential disputes team pursuing possession proceedings and advising upon broader landlord & tenant disputes.

Daniel's recent experience includes:

  • Acting on the recovery of fees of over £100,000 due following the provision of forfeiture services.
  • Co-ordinating the eviction of trespassers at residential property following injunction proceedings.
  • Operating a legal advice helpline for a national insurer dealing with landlord & tenant and general property disputes.
  • Advising on the existence and extent of prescriptive easements, including a right of way over a neighbouring private road.
  • Drafting Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements and Assured Tenancy Agreements.

Daniel completed his undergraduate law degree at Sheffield Hallam University, during which he spent a year studying French Law at l'Université de Paris-Est Creteil, and obtained his Masters Degree in Law with distinction at the University of Law in Birmingham. Prior to joining Shoosmiths, Daniel trained and qualified at a Buckinghamshire-based firm as a litigation and company law solicitor.
