Gillian is an Associate in the Employment team in Scotland.
Prior to qualifying in 2023, Gillian spent a year in the team as a trainee and has worked closely on both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has experience assisting with complex Tribunal litigation, including a mass equal pay case and a trade union blacklisting case. Gillian has also developed her experience advising both employers and individuals on a range of issues from absence management to employment status, and she has drafted contracts, policies and training for employer clients.
Gillian also has a keen interest in providing pro bono legal advice through Strathclyde’s Law Clinic and the firm’s links with Citizens Advice Edinburgh.
