Kat is a principal associate in the corporate team based in the London office.
Kat advises on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, investments, venture capital, corporate governance and shareholder arrangements. Kat acts regularly for investors, entrepreneurs and management teams in a wide range of sectors.
Prior to joining Shoosmiths, Kat spent a number of years within the London and Manchester offices of a national firm and prior to that spent time working for a firm in Dubai.
Kat’s recent experience includes advising:
- Clean Growth Fund on a number of its Series A and follow-on investments;
- Peckwater Brands on its Series Seed and Series A financings and its acquisition of the Honest Food Company in four countries;
- Hoxton Ventures on its Series Seed investment in Flair Impact;
- YFM Equity Partners on its follow-on investment into Unbiased; and
- the management team of digital forensics business, Forensic Analytics Limited, on its growth capital funding from Mercia Asset Management.
