Kayleigh Chapman is an associate in our Planning Team based in our Thames Valley offices. Kayleigh advises on all planning matters with significant experience in advising in respect of planning enforcement, community infrastructure levy and the drafting and negotiation of Section 106 Agreements, Section 278 Agreements and Section 38 Agreements. She also assists our Real Estate and Corporate teams on due diligence for acquisitions and disposals. Kayleigh works for both private sector and public clients, including local authorities, landowners and developers. 

 
Kayleigh's recent experience includes:
 
  • Acting for a local authority in respect of Section 106 Agreements, Unilateral Undertakings and advice in respect of costs applications;
  • Advising national housing developers on Section 106 Agreements;
  • Carrying out planning due diligence for various clients for acquisitions, disposals and refinancing including reviewing conditional contracts, SPAs, Agreements for Lease and other transactional document
Kayleigh joined Shoosmiths in May 2022 having previously trained and worked at Blandy & Blandy LLP in their planning department since 2013
