Rebecca is an Associate in the firm’s Belfast office and specialises in commercial and property disputes with particular emphasis on financial services litigation. Rebecca has a wealth of experience in banking litigation, contract disputes, personal guarantee claims, unsecured recoveries and defended complex mortgage proceedings. Rebecca acts on behalf of various leading banks, lending institutions, debt purchasers and asset finance companies. Rebecca also acts on behalf of commercial clients in relation to winding up and bankruptcy proceedings. Rebecca has invaluable experience regularly appearing on behalf of the firm’s clients in the County Court and before the Chancery and Bankruptcy Masters in the High Court.

Rebecca graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013 with an LLB (Hons) and then undertook a Masters in Criminal Justice in 2014 graduating with an MSc with Commendation from Queen's University Belfast.

Rebecca qualified as a Solicitor in September 2017 with Commendation from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University Belfast. Rebecca completed her training contract with Wilson Nesbitt Solicitors prior to joining Shoosmiths as a Solicitor in 2019.
