Sally is a Partner in the Family Team.

Having been a solicitor specialising in family law since 2003, means that Sally has substantial experience. This includes providing strategic advice to her clients at the start of their relationship to protect their wealth or position, to advising on all matters in the event of a relationship breakdown. She has acted for many clients who are divorcing or separating, enabling them to reach a positive outcome. Her clients are often high net worth business owners, directors, medical professionals and senior managers, or their spouse; where there is pre-marital wealth, complex pension arrangements, inherited wealth or third party interests.

Sally has acted in many complex cases concerning the arrangements for children, including where there are allegations of abuse and parental alienation. She also specialises in disputes arising out of surrogacy arrangements and donor conceived children. Sally acted in the notable reported cases of Re C (A Child: Parental Order and Child Arrangements Order) [2020] EWHC 2141 (Fam) and Re C (A Child: Parental Order and Child Arrangements Order) [2020] EWHC 2474 (Fam).

Sally is a member of Resolution: an organisation for family lawyers who are keen to promote a constructive approach to family law issues and consider the needs of the whole family. Her strength is in providing clear and realistic advice and she has been recommended by the Legal 500, where it is reported that she has been described by clients as 'professional and experienced with a sensible and pragmatic approach'. Sally is down to earth and part of a blended family, so fully appreciates the obstacles this can create and how to overcome them. Clients are reassured by her calm and supportive manner.

Sally is also a trustee for Relate Northamptonshire, so part of the strategic decision making board, ultimately helping Relate to work with people to live well in today's society.
