Shantelle is a Solicitor who joined the newly created Plot Sales team at the Manchester office in November 2018.
Shantelle works closely with developers to ensure that they achieve sales of new homes to purchasers as smoothly as possible. This involves working with the developer at the outset, once acquisition has taken place by setting up all the documentation required for plot sales on a development through to legal completion of the newly constructed plots. Shantelle also acts for the developer when it agrees to buy a purchasers’ existing property as part exchange for the newly built property (and selling the property afterwards).
Shantelle also has experience in the sales of affordable housing, selling through the Government’s Help to Buy scheme and the grant and renewal of residential leases.
Before starting at Shoosmiths’, Shantelle also acted for individuals purchasing both residential and new build properties, as well the grant of new leases to small commercial businesses.
