Leading national law firm, Shoosmiths, has been named Law Firm of the Year 2018 at the North West Residential Property Awards in Manchester.
Shoosmiths' Manchester real estate team was recognised for its impact on the North West property industry over the last 12 months and hailed as being "everywhere and right in the market".
The ceremony, hosted by Insider, brought together the North West property professionals who are driving forward the region's residential property sector.
This is the latest award for the Manchester office who recently won the Legal 500's Regional Real Estate Firm of the Year for its market leading team.
Shoosmiths was praised for its achievements by a panel of top industry judges from across the residential sector, including its completion of the landmark £200 million sale of No1 Spinningfields for long-standing client Allied London. The transaction represented the largest-ever single office acquisition in the North West.
Law Firm of the Year was a new category for this year's ceremony and was introduced to celebrate the quality of North West legal teams working to facilitate major developments in the region's residential sector.
